Doctoral candidate positions available at ANCHOR

The recruitment for the ANCHOR project is progressing, and nearing completion but two positions are currently open to applications.

The first project is titled, Dynamic Network Architectures and Control for Tropospheric and Cell-Free Networks. Based at Eindhoven University of Technology. For more information and to apply, https://www.academictransfer.com/en/jobs/362057/phd-in-network-architectures-and-control-for-tropospheric-and-cell-free-networks-anchor

The second project, Analog Mobile fronthaul and photonics-assisted THz integrated sensing and communication, is based at Riga Technical University. For more information and for applications, https://euraxess.ec.europa.eu/jobs/406395

Both of these projects come with all of the benefits of being part of a Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions Doctoral Network.

    ANCHOR project begins

The project kicked off in January 2026 and the first doctoral positions are open for applications

Eight of the fifteen ANCHOR doctoral positions are open to applications and details on each of these can be found at the links below.

Two positions are based at the University of Strathclyde in the UK, one focussed on optical wireless communications and the other exploring beyond line-of-sight communication in the ultraviolet wavelengths.

A further two positions are available at Instituto de Telecomunicações in Portugal. One of these will investigate advanced solutions for the mitigation of atmospheric impairments on high-speed free-space optics signals and the other will focus on the development and optimization of algorithms for 6 GHz low-cost massive MIMO solutions using radio stripes for wide coverage.
